Survival guide for the winter

Winter can sometimes become a series of long, cold months, especially when the holiday festivities are over and the return to work and a more routine lifestyle resumes.

Winter can sometimes become a series of long, cold months, especially when the holiday festivities are over and the return to work and a more routine lifestyle resumes.

We therefore thought to prepare a little guide to get you through these darker months without sinking into a more depressive mode and to help you keep a smile on.

No.1 — The perfect cocoon

Often in winter time, we go into cocooning mode and we hibernate a little while watching the series of the hour on Netflix. Creating a decor that looks like us is a must to keep a happy attitude. Surround yourself with some of the nicest cushions and the most comfy throws to make you look forward to getting back home after work.

No.2 — Take care of yourself

Generally, the holiday season is dedicated to spoiling others and to being spoiled. In January,  you can feel hollow and often feel less surrounded and let's say it, a bit more poor. Caring for yourself with small gestures is a great way to counter the winter blues. A good hot bath, creaming yourself daily or your getting nails done are all great inexpensive ways , to treat yourself.

No.3 — Stay organized

Since we're staying home more often in winter time, it's important to feel good at home and a good way to do that is to stay organized. Clean up and get rid of the superfluous. Then put everything in order by using pretty baskets. Notebooks are also a good way to keep all these ideas in your mind organized.

Hope these tips will help you make the most of these darker months. And take the opportunity to go outside and fill your lungs with fresh air.
